Hello. If you're reading this, you've stumbled upon something that's extremely classified and would normally get you shot immediately. But, since i'm so nice, you get a personal pardon from me seeing as you'll learn what Protocol 12 means later. I have two saved copies of the article, one that I made, and one that someone else tried to fabricate. The third tab will have some answers to your questions and some of the teams remaining notes.
I also may have left some of Jones work in there, so you're going to have to piece together the bits because I have more important work to do and I don't need someone contacting me.
- Doctor Klaus Rikowski
ADF-5.
File #: ADF-5
Danger Class: Haeresis
Obscurity Class: Octa
Current Whereabouts: The United States Of America, State Of Georgia, located in the outskirts of Atlanta near my hometown. The forest has been zoned off from any intruders and by an extent animals and townspeople.
ADF-5 was discovered on January 12, 2010.
Information on the discovery can be found below.
Description:
ADF-5 is a red maple forest consisting of up to ███~ instances of ADF-5a and ███~ instances of ADF-5b. The forest, while appearing normal on the outside, has observable forest fire damage around the approximate centre. A descriptive understanding of ADF-5 is still trying to be worded. The anomalous properties themselves reside with the various by-products of ADF-5.
ADF-5 was discovered after a hired group of scientists were sent to check out a so-called ''flesh forest'' in the United States. Two townsfolk, a farmer and a truck driver who frequented the site, came and reported the forest to a 4-Chan post after coming in contact with an ADR operative. The two townsfolk had mentioned something about the town being on lockdown all the time, and that the government was issuing out Non-Disclosure Agreements ''like it was just another Tuesday.''
Investigation regarding this matter is prohibited, and a cover story has been fabricated.
ADF-5a.
Description - ADF-5a: ADF-5a ranges from 25-30ft tall, and bears a major resemblance to an Acer Rubrum. While "normal" leaves are present on all instances of ADF-5a, some of the tree's leaves have been observed to grow out as different, biologically accurate, human organs (eg. intestines, muscles, tendons). These organs may sometimes react (ie. a heart beats or a stomach produces acid.) or start to shift and move. The tree sap is similar to hydrochloric acid, instantly corroding skin on touch.
A comprehensive list of the possible organs, provided by Doctor Klaus :
LIST OF ORGANS
---
Human heart
Human stomach
Human pancreas
Human brain (PARTIALLY INTACT)
Human smaller and larger intestines
Human kidneys
Human liver
Human lungs

ADF-5b, with a technical diagram.
Description - ADF-5b: ADF-5b is a █████ eyeball with the optical nerve rooted into the ground. The plant itself can move on its own, first unrooting and transporting itself across a flat surface until it settles down once more. I theorize that the plant can harness wind currents to move itself across large distances. ADF-5b is also the seed of ADF-5a, in which the current roots would grow and spread into the tree. Some team members have noticed that the eyeball will change colour, specifically between the colours white, grey, black, and red.
White is one of the lesser common ones, and has been spotted only three times. Jones theorized that the eyeball turns white when it's travelling, seeing as he was the one who saw it gliding in the air one time.
Grey is when ADF-5b has started to finally settle down, and is the most common out of the four.
Black is the second most common, and is when ADF-5b is growing into ADF-5a.
Red is the rarest, and has been spotted once by a now dead recruit. This state is triggered only when a human tries to harm by unrooting it forcefully. The plant, upon the iris turning red, will begin to bleed similarly to vitreous hemorrhage. The eyeball will begin to spout the same corrosive sap of ADF-5a until said person is dead and begins to decompose, or when the person is no longer in range.
ADF-5b reproduces when an organ of ADF-5a falls off and nearby ADF-5b instances are in range. The nearby instances will, upon seeing said organ, use their roots to grab the organ and dig it into the soil to ''consume'' it. The ADF-5b anomaly in this scenario would then make an egg pop out of the soil as if nothing happened. On a funnier note, ADF-5b instances will brawl over organs by smashing into each others eyeball.
ADF-5b is not only limited to ADF-5a, but also includes instance of ADF-5c, ADF-5d, and ADF-5e. ADF-5a just happens to be the only documented case.
ADF-5c, Cherokee Rose.
Description - ADF-5c: ADF-5c consists of a large array of flowers which are present in Atlanta. While most flowers look similar to their regular counterpart, with obvious differences like red petals and a puddle of "blood" surrounding the base of the stem, other flowers of different species are shown to be more prone to mutations.
A comprehensive list of all the documented mutations of ADF-5c, provided by Doctor Jones:
LIST OF MUTATIONS
---
Red petals
Puddle of blood around the base of the stem
Teeth in the receptacle
Human tissue surrounding the stem
Human artery replacing the stem

A comprehensive list of the flowers more prone to mutation, provided by Doctor Jones:
LIST OF FLOWERS
---
Azaleas
Cherokee Rose
Zinnias
Gerbera Daisy
Salvia
Reminder that the flowers are only perfect imitations, and have their own DNA signatures different from their counterparts.
ADF-5d, White-tailed Deer.
Description - ADF-5d: ADF-5d consists of multiple types of animals local to the United States with some major disfigurations and mutations. Some mutations may include flesh clumps growing in and on the skin, or extra organs growing in random spots. While most animals seemingly appear to be in no pain, rarer exceptions include [REDACTED] and [REDACTED].
A comprehensive list of all the documented mutations of ADF-5d, provided by Doctor Ferner:
LIST OF MUTATIONS
---
Red iris
Whites in the eye bleeding
Extra minerals in blood.
Extra tissue growing in clumps on animal. (Interior and Exterior)
Multiple extra organs growing on animal.
Disfigurations. (Bone cutting through skin, Limbs in the wrong place, etc.)

Addendum 1: Flesh Fruit
2 months after our joint operation with the ADR, Dr. Klaus discovered a type of '' flesh fruit '' growing on ADF-5a samples near the centre of the forest. After he tried the fruit, he reported that the fruit was sweet and had the same texture and near similar looks of an Crimson Crisp.
After picking a batch of the fruit and dubbing it ADF-4aFF, testing on the human digestive system began (see [REDACTED]) and proved to be a major success, minus similar affects to nicotine and its respective symptoms. ADR decided to try and sell the fruit to local grocery stores and black market operations in Atlanta, proving to be a massive success and boosting the affected establishments income by 23%.
One ambitious economics specialist by the name of W. Lichen decided to mix ADF-4aFF with other heavy drugs and chemicals (Cocaine, Methamphetamine, etc.) to serve to crackheads and addicts for extra gross income and something in it for him. The campaign was a massive success, and was nicknamed ''Flesh Fruit'' by those involved in the operation.

Interview #█ - Michael ████, Local Resident.
BEGIN
Doctor Jones - “Alright Mr. ████, tell me what you know about the forest.”
Michael ████ - “It’s been here for as long as I can remember. People tried going in for dares and crap… like me.”
Doctor Jones - “Ok, but what do you know about the forest.”
Michael ████ - “Okay, err- it’s fleshy and gross and disgusting-”
Doctor Jones - “This we know, anything else?”
Michael ████ - “One man's opinion, but, I think there's a cult in there.”
Doctor Jones - “A cult?”
Michael ████ - “Yeah, people used to come into the forest with backpacks and tents like it was some sort of camping trip. I heard voices coming from there every night, and smoke up in the distance. It only stopped when you guys showed up with your investigation team and eventually uploaded it onto this database, I think.”
Doctor Jones - “Interesting. Is that all?”
Michael ████ - “Yeah, yeah.”
Doctor Jones - “Alright, thank you for making this incredibly short for me.”
Michael ████ - “Really wanna go to sleep, ey?”
Doctor Jones - “… Yeah.”
Michael ████ - “I feel you, man.”

Interview #█ - Asher ████████, Local Painter.
BEGIN
Doctor Klaus - "Okay, what do you know about the red maple forest near your place?"
Asher ████████ - "The weird fleshy one? It's actually been a tourist destination funny enough. People charge admission fees to enter the place, 18+ of course since you don't want a child seeing that. They still try sneaking in though."
Doctor Klaus - "That's why we set up chicken wire. Continue."
Asher ████████ - "Once you people came and claimed you were feds, that's when everything just kinda stopped. Kids didn't wanna get shot by you guys, but some still tried."
Doctor Klaus - "Do you know anything about a… cult or sorts?"
Asher ████████ - "Matter of fact I do. People come in and out over days and weeks. Some come out much earlier and look like they're on a deathbed and others looked like they had a feast. I don't know if they're cannibals or anything but I think it's possible."
Doctor Klaus - "Is that all?"
Asher ████████ - "Yeah, I think."
Doctor Klaus - "Very well, thank you for your time. This has proved very informative."
